Many brands already pursue to manipulate controllers with their hands just like they use tablets.
They also want to remove those complicated components in devices like buttons and simply control the robot by using a touch screen or like Mercedes-Benz control knob.
However, when we received feedbacks from consumers who used our products over the past 40 years, they complained about the touch screen and portable tablet methods, which we once tried.
Why did they refuse such a modern and fabulous way?

The reason is clear: It is due to their environment they are working in.
Using a touch screen was less effective because they work on site, that it was hard for them to touch the screen with their gloves on, and at often times, the screen was covered with water and dust.
What if we let them use common tablet PC? This is not a flying drone for kids.
The users would want to see the inner part of pipeline with a clear vision even under a scorching sun, and want to monitor with several measuring graphs and its status in a big screen.
Thus, ROBOCAM S system controller has integrated the following four features into All-In-One feature: Controller, Video Recorder, Typewriter and Measurement.
Sensor-Based Advanced Controller
Two folding Potential Joysticks are installed: one of which is designed to perform the Pan & Tilt control of the camera head, the focus control of the camera and the zoom function(optional), while the other have driving control system to all directions and Cruise control functions.
This ergonomically designed joystick can detect and control the acceleration of the robot by the user’s degree of force put on it.
The brightness of the LED lamp can be adjusted to 0 ~ 100%, and the camera head can return to its origin position and to the front direction automatically with the one-touch button operation.
The advanced IR sensor function also allows the users to automatically measure the iameter of the pipe at the same time.

The monitor displays a status of the robot at all times, thus the users can monitor or get notified whether the robot is tilted to more than the designated tilt value, and through a sensor that perceive temperature, humidity and pressure in real-time, whether there is a possibility of water permeating into the robot or not.
Instinctive and Intelligible Full HD Digital Recording Device
The picture quality of this product is Full HD class, that the size of the file is much larger than the size of analog SD picture quality.
The controller is equipped with a high-end PC that has intel i5 7th generation processor, 32GB DDR memory chip and SATA SSD-128GB storage device, which does not lose data even in impact.
The ROBOCAM S system controller has a digital recording program located right next to the screen of the sewer inspection monitor so that the users can easily understand its usage.

The users can conveniently record the inspection contents and capture the still frame in high definition at any time during
the photographing test.
In addition, the recorded image can be safely moved to USB memory stick or external hard storage device.
Quadrilingual Language Caption Program to meet global
sewer line inspection subtitle standard
(Type writing Software Program)
Every country has its own sewer line inspection manual; there are different lassifications of the subtitle location, content and even any abnormal symptoms to be
displayed on the screen.
ROBOCAM S Typewriter is a program that has been developed by our devotion in time to study the subtitle standards of various countries based on its direct exporting experiences for many years.

Controller has a built-in system written in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese languages, and when the users select specific language from settings, then the computer will reboot and display the screen in selected language.
Even the location and content of the detailed subtitles are changed to suit the national sewer line inspection manual.
As with a digital recording program, the subtitle program has a UI that is arranged right next to the pipe inspection image screen.
The inspector can freely write any required subtitles during the inspection service on the screen using the keyboard at any time and also display various defect descriptions saved in advance.
In cases when the project information was deleted after the investigation ended, here is a hassle to write again on next course, but this controller is programmed to serve
onvenience to the users by having save and import function.


If the users want to utilize Wincan reporting software program’s real-time reports and subtitle display function, rather than our own program, then the users can directly open the image, in which all of the subtitles are removed in advance, and connect it to Wincan program.
High-Technology That Can Measure Pipe Inclination and Its Diameter
When the sewer line is newly installed and the existing pipelines are managed at a constant cycle, the measurement value commonly required in all countries is the measurement of the slope and size of the pipe.
The pipe tilting technique of other existing tractor robots is a gyroscope sensor that imply develops the low data value into a graph, but ROBOCAM S controller has a special function that filters and converts the value with no errors.
Generally, when a tractor runs through a sewer line, it runs beyond many kinds of obstacles.
At this time, the tractor drives irregular and excessively inclined (squeaking) path, yet the program artificially corrects such irregular and protruding data values to express a stable slope value in a graph.

In addition, with a simple one-touch operation, the diameter of the sewer line can be automatically measured and the camera head can be positioned at the center height of the sewer line.
